Lead and Copper Rules Revisions: DEQ Service Line Inventory Idaho Template & Resources
The Lead and Copper Rule Improvements requires that systems submit a baseline inventory by no later than November 1, 2027.
What is this?: The baseline inventory is an update to the inventory you submitted to comply with the Lead and Copper Rule Revision which was due October 16, 2024.
What is the update?: The update is the requirement to provide specific information regarding connectors.
For systems with 1,000 or fewer service connections, DEQ is leveraging their LSLI Technical Assistance providers - including IRWA - to do as much of this work as possible for you.
How will this work?: IRWA will leverage the inventory you submitted to DEQ and transfer the existing data to the updated template. If we have questions, we may reach out to you for clarity. IRWA will submit the updated template through the inventory submittal portal. IRWA will email the updated version to you for your records.
What if I never submitted an inventory? IRWA may reach out to you to aid in developing your inventory.
